Greetings!
BlogFam - This is a slight departure from our current series but one that I believe you will appreciate...
I was invited to PRAY on the last night of the LIGHT IT UP Prayer Call series. This was a week of prayer for children and youth in light of recent events and all that our children and youth have to face and deal with everyday, everywhere. I pray that this prayer blesses you and I ask that you PLEASE share it with EVERY young person you know that needs to be challenged and encouraged to carry the LIGHT of Christ everywhere they go! |

Greetings!
BlogFam - One of my favorite verses in the bible to remind myself of my life's priorities is Matthew 6:33. "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." In countless decisions and words of advice to others, this verse has been a timely and appropriate mantra. So, this morning, I was very excited when the focal verse of my morning devotional was from the Gospel of Matthew, Chapter 6, and I just read the entire chapter for my own edification. |

Greetings!
This post is for VISIONARIES.
I am one of them.
And I am not sure how this post will actually end or even what direction I am headed but I know this... I do feel a stirring in this season of my life and even possibly in the lives of others for us to SHIFT NOW! I do not know exactly what that means for the particularity of your situation but I do know this to be true: The SHIFT that you make in this season MUST be a holistic turnaround for every area of your life. In other words, mind, body, and spirit will feel the impact of your shift in this season. |

Luke 17
Just One More Thank You!
There are two very popular words/phrases that are the mark of polite people... Please and Thank You.
For most of us, we are taught at an early age to say Please and Thank You. These are terms of respect and gratitude that we often expect to be said automatically at the appropriate time. We do not think we should have to ask ppl to say Please or Thank You to us. We expect and anticipate that a please will precede a request. We expect and anticipate that a Thank You will follow an act of service/kindness we have rendered. Actually most of us are offended when please and thank u are not expressed at the right time. We might then remind the other person of what they neglected to say allowing an opportunity to get it right OR we might let it go and just keep in mind the rudeness or ingratitude of that person when it comes to future requests or acts of kindness.
Please and Thank you can never be said enough and if not spoken just ONE time can make us feel some kind of way. So y don't we just say please or thank u?
In Luke 17 ten lepers were begging JESUS to heal them. Master have mercy /pity on us! Lord, PLEASE look at us and heal us!
When he saw them, he said, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went, they were cleansed. - Luke 17:14
TGBTG!!! The ten lepers cried out and Jesus replied by relieving all of them from their sickness. Now what would u say? What r u supposed to say after JESUS heals/helps/blesses/favors you? The least u can do is tell the Lord THANK U!
And ONE leper did just that!!!
One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice. He threw himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked him—and he was a Samaritan. - Luke 17:15-16
Just ONE More Thank You!
Of the TEN who requested/pleaded for JESUS to have mercy and heal them, JESUS heard ONE Thank You!!!
Ten healed, One Thank You and my question is WOULD YOU BE THAT ONE?
Would you be the ONE who said Thank You? Are you the ONE who says Thank You?
Friends our Lord deserves just ONE more Thank You and I pray that YOU would be the ONE to say Please and Thank You to the ONE who most deserves it! HAPPY THANKSGIVING & TELL THE LORD THANK YOU!
GOD LOVES YOU AND I DO TOO!!!
BLESSINGS,
DELESSLYN

How Well Do You Know Jesus? Part 2 - You are NOT the FIRST or the ONLY One!!! Matthew 5: 11-12 11 Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. 12 Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you. GREETINGS! BlogFam,Have you ever had an experience where you were the FIRST and the ONLY person to experience, go through, achieve, endure, overcome, initiate, or control something? |
