BlogFam, A spotlight is: a strong, focused light thrown upon a particular spot, as on a small area of a stage or in a television studio, for making some object, person, or group especially conspicuous.
A spotlight is used to focus your attention on a particular point that you might have otherwise overlooked, ignored, or dismissed. A spotlight is very helpful in guiding you to whatever is the most important movement or message at the time. |

BlogFam -
I feel like so much has happened in the last few weeks since I have written, but please know that I have not forgotten about you and I continue to lift you up in my prayers.
We are continuing in the Book of Isaiah. So let me start by asking you this. Do you know of certain connections that you have or had in the past that were very good for you or very bad for you? And can you name a few reasons why those connections fell into either one of those categories? |

BlogFam - Here is a quick word of REMINDER to you on today: If you do not stand firm in your faith, then you will not stand at all.[Isaiah 7:9b]
I know that this word is not a deep revelation for some of you but it is at the very least a quick REMINDER to us all. It is a word from the Lord, in the context of Isaiah 7, when the King of Judah is threatened by two other armies. The threat is such that the hearts of the king and his people "trembled like trees in a forest shaking in he wind. |

BlogFam, I am not perfect. And neither are you. Now take a deep breath because it is OK. It is OK for us not to be perfect and most of all it is a wonderful gift to know that perfection is NOT a requirement of our servant status. Obedience, not perfection, is the requirement. And while we might all find it challenging to obey the Lord in every situation and circumstance of the private and public witness of our lives, it is possible. But perfection , on the other hand, is IM-possible. |

BlogFam -
On this past weekend, God flipped my script. And I do not mean the usual, slap your neighbor give a shout out for joy because your situation is turning around for your good kind of flip. I mean, a flip that changed my life as I now know it. I mean, a flip that creates a void that cannot be filled. I mean, a flip that sends a shock through your soul and fills your eyes with a countless amount of tears and your heart with unimaginable pain. My uncle died totally unexpectedly over the weekend. |
