Greetings!
BlogFam, I know that we tend to dream about a lot of different things as we enter a brand new year. And though we are nearing the end of January, I do not want to let this month go without raising a very critical consideration for us all. Namely, the company we keep.
Your success is influenced by the people you choose to have in your circle. There is some truth to the old age words of wisdom: Birds of a feather, flock together.
I remember being warned about certain peers while growing up and I did not always understand why my parents felt that a warning or an all out prohibition was necessary, but looking back, I am grateful. |

Greetings!
BlogFam,
Today is the official inauguration date of Donald Trump. And no, I will not go on and on about what his presidency might mean to these United States of America for the next four years. There has been enough of that kind of speculation both well-informed and sometimes misguided, emotional rhetoric since the day of his election back in November 2016. However, I do want to pause and say THANK YOU, LORD for the pivotal and invaluable leadership of President Barack H. |

Greetings!
BlogFam,
Have you ever received a compliment that you rejected, deflected, ignored, or denied?
Think about that for a moment. Who said it? What did they say? When did they say it? Where did they say it? How did they say it? Why do you think they said it? How did it make you feel? Was it true? Did you agree? Was it awkward?
As I reflect on today's scripture, one of the most pivotal parts of the birth story of Jesus, I cannot help but to highlight Mary's hesitation not just at her call from God to carry the Gospel but at the compliment she is given before the call. |

Greetings!
BlogFam,
I am encouraged by the words of the psalmist found in Psalm 27:13...
But I have sure faith that I will experience the Lord’s goodness in the land of the living!
Now, I have to be honest with you that as excited as I am about "experiencing the Lord's goodness in the land of the living," I had to do a Holy Ghost check-in with myself on the first part of the verse.
"But I have sure faith."
Do I?
Do I have SURE faith? |

Greetings!
BlogFam, I have a question.
What do you see as your divine assignment in THIS season?
Please notice that the word assignment is singular, not plural.
What is the ONE thing that God is calling for you to do or to prepare for or to become or to change or to shift or to walk away from in THIS season?
This is a very important question. It is the question that could change your life as you know it. I know this to be true because I have lived it and I am living it right now. My life is changing as we speak. |
