Greetings!
BlogFam, We are continuing our BEST PRACTICES Series, so let's just jump right into our scripture for today...
5 “And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. 6 But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. |

Greetings!
BlogFam, As we continue our #BestPractices Series, our verses for today remind me of an instruction that I am sure that all of us heard as children... KEEP YOUR HANDS TO YOURSELF! This phrase was used most often was a word of caution to not hit, punch, or poke other children or people. It was an early lesson on setting boundaries and respecting personal space. I can appreciate the intentions behind these words and have followed and shared the same instruction with others. |

Greetings!
BlogFam - One of my favorite verses in the bible to remind myself of my life's priorities is Matthew 6:33. "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." In countless decisions and words of advice to others, this verse has been a timely and appropriate mantra. So, this morning, I was very excited when the focal verse of my morning devotional was from the Gospel of Matthew, Chapter 6, and I just read the entire chapter for my own edification. |
