Greetings!
BlogFam, I learned how to pack my own clothes as a child. Our family took several trips a year and so I learned about the things that needed to go in my suitcase to make my trip flow much easier. I knew I needed to pack play clothes and dress clothes and a few extra outfits just in case anything happened or plans changed while we were away. I needed to pack shoes and toiletries, underclothes and jewelry, purses and a jacket. I also needed to pack anything related to our specific destination that I anticipated would be helpful during my stay. |

Greetings!
BlogFam,I believe that the power of God that was available to the people in the Bible is still available to us centuries later.
I had to open with that statement. I had to open with that statement because I am personally challenged by our verse of reflection for today as we continue this series - Disciples Dos and Don'ts.
Here is the verse for today - Matthew 10:8 - 8 Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give. |

Greetings!
BlogFam, Have you ever been the bearer of good or even bad news? Have you ever had to be the one voice to carry a message to a certain person or group of people? Have you ever been told to say something in a very particular way in order to convey what the sender of the message actually intended for it to convey?
Well, I can answer YES to all of these questions. I have had to deliver good and bad news. I have had to give a message to certain people and groups of people. |

Greetings!
BlogFam, It is time for a NEW blog series. It has taken me a week or two to discern our next direction and today, I invite you to journey with me as we walk through Matthew 10. In this passage of scripture, Jesus gives very detailed instructions to the disciples that he sends forth to do His work in the earth. I invite us to reflect on His words to them and what it might mean for us on today. BUT we must first answer a very basic question... here it is...ARE YOU A DISCIPLE OF JESUS CHRIST? |
