The RIGHTEOUS Factor ***For ALL Visionaries*** Habakkuk 2:2-4 ![]() Habakkuk 2:2-4 [KJV] And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith. Habakkuk 2:2-4 [MSG] And then God answered: “Write this. Write what you see. Write it out in big block letters so that it can be read on the run. This vision-message is a witness pointing to what’s coming. It aches for the coming—it can hardly wait! And it doesn’t lie. If it seems slow in coming, wait. It’s on its way. It will come right on time. “Look at that man, bloated by self-importance— full of himself but soul-empty. But the person in right standing before God through loyal and steady believing is fully alive, really alive." Greetings! BlogFam, I have a question. YOU are the only one with the answer. So, here is my question. IS THY HEART RIGHT WITH GOD? Will you answer that question for me? Right now? I can ask you again for clarity’s sake. Here we go. IS THY HEART RIGHT WITH GOD? On the third day before we end the MY VISION FAST and whether or not you have journeyed with us for nearly 21 days or not, this question is an unavoidable, inescapable factor in living God’s Vision for your life. I, myself, and I would dare say, most of you, have read and been encouraged by and even shouted over the first two verses of our selected three verses many times. We all want a vision. We are looking for a clear vision from God and once we have that vision, most of us are already aware that we need to write it down and then wait for it to come to pass. And we really do get that even if it tarries,we must wait for it because as the text says – it will SURELY come. It’s on its way. It will come right on time. All of this is good news that we need and that we like to know up front. Write the Vision. Make it plain enough to be able to act upon it. Wait for the vision to come into fruition. Rest assured that at the right time, it will not be delayed. We ALL pretty much understand that this is how it will be with some significant and personal details in between. But what about the next verse? KJV - Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith. NIV - See, the enemy is puffed up; his desires are not upright— but the righteous person will live by hisfaithfulness— MSG - Look at that man, bloated by self-importance— full of himself but soul-empty. But the person in right standing before God through loyal and steady believing is fully alive, really alive. And NOW that you have read this verse in THREE different versions/translations of the Bible, I hope that you caught ONE of the primary factors that is critical to living outGOD’S VISION for your life… RIGHTEOUSNESS. So, I am going to ask you that question again… IS THY HEART RIGHT WITH GOD? BlogFam, I know that this is an in your face kind of question but somebody has to ask! It might as well be me. We are all family and because I care about you and I really do want to see God’s very best happen in your life, I have to ask those hard questions. We get so excited about the glory of divine revelation as it comes to us in visions and dreams and AHA! Moments, that we forget that the euphoria of that moment is tempered by the reality of the condition of our hearts when we come down from the mountain and when the rubber meets the road. And when the latter happens, I want you to know that YES, your heart condition does matter, your inward status is taken into account, your secret self is not so secret, and God’s righteousness must prevail in your heart. Too often, we choose to rob ourselves of the benefit of the abundant life in Christ because of our up and down, in and out, see-sawing commitment to live by faith, to be faithful, and to be in right standing before God through loyal and steady believing. Too often, we are our own worst enemy, in that we are puffed up, bloated by self-importance,intentionally avoiding the TRUTH about our heart’s condition yet fully desiring to experience the benefits of living God’s Vision for our lives. So, YES, when it comes to living God’s Vision for your life, I pray that you would endeavor to consider the RIGHTEOUS factor. Do NOT shortchange God by running with a Vision that He gave you and then leaving God completely out of the plans to carry out that vision. How rude! How arrogant! How selfish for anyone of us to think that we can handle God’s Vision without God! I do not want you to be ignorant and I do not want God’s Vision for your life to be unrealized simply because YOU left God out! BlogFam, YES, I am going to ask IT again. And ONLY you know the answer. IS THY HEART RIGHT WITH GOD? I pray that on today you would check in with the Holy One in your prayer time regarding the RIGHTEOUS factor and just be sure about your standing in God, so that you can have the clearance you need to move forward with the Vision God has for your life!
