Good Deeds to the MAX!!!

GOOD DEEDS To the MAX!!! #bloggingontheGO Luke 10:33 NIV But a Samaritan, as he traveled, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him... GREETINGS!!! BlogFam, on yesterday I finished reading a book entitled, ALL BECAUSE OF CALVARY: THE NAOMI D. M. SELLARS STORY. This book is an autobiographical testimony of Missionary Naomi's ministry in Africa. Her ministry in Africa was over a thirty year time span during which she would spend 3-4 years there and come home on furlough for about one year before going back. She heard the call of God to serve when she was 22 and dedicated her life in obedience to that call. As I read the book, I laughed. I cried. I prayed. I wondered. Her testimony is so inspiring, not only to those who feel called to missions abroad, but to ANYONE who loves the Lord and desires to totally surrender their life to serving God in ANY way in obedience to the will of God for their life. Missionary Naomi is/was a GOOD Samaritan. Her life of surrender and service in the Kingdom of God is illustrative of the passion we all should have about our relationship with God and all that we do and say because of CALVARY!!! Friends, basically, what I want to convey is that the mercy of the Samaritan who is called GOOD is not so far fetched. There are men and women who are seeing the needs of others who have been left out or looked over or passed by or put out everyday AND everyday men and women are stopping to meet the needs of those they see. The question is this... Are YOU one of them? Are you one of the servants of the Most High, such as Missionary Naomi or the Good Samaritan, who sees a need and goes out of their way to meet that need as you are able? Are you willing to be a neighbor and to love your neighbor as you love yourself? Luke 10:30, 33-35 NIV "A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, when he was attacked by robbers. They stripped him of his clothes, beat him and went away, leaving him half dead.... A Samaritan, as he traveled, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him. He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put the man on his own donkey, brought him to an inn and took care of him. The next day he took out two denarii and gave them to the innkeeper. 'Look after him,' he said, 'and when I return, I will reimburse you for any extra expense you may have.'" BlogFam, I pray that you would strive to live a life full of good deeds to the MAX!!! There will be people who will try to block you and criticize you and convince you that it does not take all of that! But when YOU begin to think about the maximum good deed Jesus did in dying for our sins... none of us can ever do too much! YOU can never love, give, serve, sacrifice too much for the sake of the Kingdom of God because when you think about God's goodness toward you, you realize that there is still MORE you can DO!!! Soooo GO DO GOOD not for the rewards of doing so but simply because doing GOOD is the RIGHT thing to do and doing GOOD is what LOVE demands... AND doing GOOD is what God has already done for YOU!!! GOD LOVES YOU AND I DO TOO!!! Blessings, Delesslyn FOLLOW @AudraSunshine or @Spiritedconcepts
