Keeping It To God's Self!

Keeping It To God’s Self! Click or Copy and Paste Link to LISTEN NOW!!! Proverbs 25:2 NIV It is the glory of God to conceal a matter; to search out a matter is the glory of kings. Greetings! BlogFam, I do not know about you, but I am so very glad that there are things that God knows about me that God keeps to God’s self! Can I get a witness? I have had thoughts and ideas, words and conversations, actions and reactions that have been held in confidence by the Almighty and I am glad about that. There are some things about me that are FOR GOD’S EYES AND EARS ONLY! And YES that sentiment includes the things I have had to repent for as well. Friends, this is my truth and there is no shame. I just want you to know that our God is choosing to cover up some of our stuff for His Glory and that is good news! Proverbs 25:2 NIV It is the glory of God to conceal a matter; to search out a matter is the glory of kings. I know that some of you have NO clue how what you said or did escaped the eyes and ears of the people you know, the people you love, or just some random people who have no special priority in your life..... BUT GOD in God's infinite Grace and Mercy concealed and sealed your secret as safe with Him. I cannot tell you exactly why our God would choose to keep your secret so close but God does so and God is the best secret keeper you will ever know. Now this does not give any of us permission to live our lives beneath God's standard of holiness. This verse does not permit us to frustrate the Grace of God by enjoying the pleasures of sin and relying on God to keep it hush hush. No sir and no ma'am, we do not now all of a sudden get to do our own thing and this is partly because that is not the meaning of this verse. But it is also because of the warning we receive in the B-clause of our verse ... to search out a matter is the glory of kings. In other words, this proverb forewarns and forearms by disclosing a strategy of kings and queens, jokers and paupers, who intentionally seek to expose your secrets for their glory and your shame. Friends, please be clear: There are people in your life who get excited to learn anything about you that will bring you down. There are friends, neighbors, co-workers, more friends, and sometimes even family members who will poke and prod, hunt and prowl just to get a glimpse of the skeletons in your closet. BlogFam, I know you have heard this before or something similar to it, but EVERYBODY DOES NOT HAVE YOUR BEST INTEREST IN MIND! So be prayerful, be mindful, be discerning, be decisive, and trust God. Proverbs 25:2 NIV It is the glory of God to conceal a matter; to search out a matter is the glory of kings. Now there may be legitimate times when others investigating your business is for your good and out of genuine concern for your well being. However, trust God in and through it all so that the Holy Spirit can lead and guide you, protecting you from dangerous people seen and unseen. Furthermore, the matters that God conceals are not limited to the things of your past and present, but these matters extend beyond your knowledge. The matters that our God conceals also include what we do not need to know about others and what we are not ready to know about ourselves, our futures. BlogFam, It is the glory of God to conceal a matter; to search out a matter is the glory of kings. And today, I pray that you would keep these words of wisdom in mind. I pray that you would be grateful to God for all that God chooses to conceal. I pray that you would have a heightened sense of discernment when it comes to the matters of your life that ill intentioned individuals would seek out. And I pray that you would not glory in the exposition of anothers concealed matters. For as God Keeps IT To God's Self for me, I pray you will be confident that God will do the same for you. PS...
