The BIG Clean OUT!

Greetings!

BlogFam -
I am having a moment.  For the last week, and especially on today, I have been cleaning OUT.  And YES, I meant to say OUT.  There is a very distinct difference between cleaning UP and cleaning OUT and I have been cleaning OUT.  I have to admit that it took me a while to get to this point but I finally did it.  I cleaned OUT jewelry, shoes, purses, clothes, toiletries, make-up, and all sorts of randomness that I have been hoarding for way too long!  And though my hoarding was relatively organized, it was weighing me down in ways that I cannot begin to fully convey in this moment.

However, as I look forward to living in my cleaned OUT space, I am now beginning to reflect on other areas of my life that need to be cleaned OUT.... YES, that includes people.  I no longer want to tolerate cleaning UP who and what does not deserve a place in my space, my mind, or my life.  I no longer want to keep holding on to people or things of chapters that were closed weeks, months, and God forbid, even years ago.  It is/was time for me to lay aside the weights that were hindering me from being FREE to live, to create, to breathe, and to share.  And now, I can honestly say, I feel lighter.  My space feels refreshed and renewed because I finally cleaned OUT what I had grown so used to cleaning UP.

Friends, what do YOU need to clean OUT?  Who do YOU need to clean OUT?  And it really does not take a long time to think about these questions.  If you are honest with yourself, you already began formulating a list of people and things that you should have cleaned OUT when you got to the fourth sentence of this post.  So, what are YOU waiting for?  It might take you some time but take  the time to care for yourself by cleaning OUT what you have only been cleaning UP for way too long.  The things you clean OUT will release you to be yourself more fully.  Do NOT be afraid because you will have LESS to wear or store or hide from yourself.  Do NOT be afraid of all the garbage that will be taken away or the gifts to the Goodwill.  Do NOT be afraid to expose yourself to ALL that you have chosen to cover up so you would not have to deal with it.  Deal with your own stuff!  The BIG Clean OUT is for your own good.  I know it has been for mine and I am looking forward to what lies ahead because of my decision to start cleaning OUT.

Now, I have put forth a lot of time and energy towards the BIG Clean OUT in my own home and there are a few more things I need to do.  I already have a plan.  I have set a deadline.  I will keep pressing forward!  I will complete the BIG clean OUT for this season in my life and then I will repeat this process in the next... What about YOU?

GOD LOVES YOU and I DO TOO!!!
Blessings, Glory, and Sunshine!
Delesslyn
