A NEW Beginning - Genesis 1:1-5

Greetings!

BlogFam -
TODAY is the first day of the 2014 My Vision Fast.  On today, men and women from all over the country have committed themselves to fasting and praying to SEEK and to SEE God's VISION for their lives.  Today is the FIRST day and for many, I believe that today is a NEW beginning to LIFE with God!

Now, I know that this might be a bold claim, but that is my belief and this is my space, my opportunity to Speak LIFE and so that is what I did! :-)

YES, I believe that on today, as so many of us commit to fasting and praying to SEEK and to SEE God's Vision for our lives, we are really opening our hearts and minds to a NEW vision of WHO God is to us.  There are so many people who have either lost sight of WHO God is; OR whose vision has become blurry of WHO God is due to complacency; OR others who have simply never ever had a clear vision of WHO God is because they have ignored or never heard of the amazing things God has done or they have witnessed such distorted representations in the lives of those who say they do believe.

There are so many perspectives of God and names for God and on this FIRST day of the My Vision Fast, I pray that you would embrace this opportunity to embark upon a new beginning to LIFE with God!

I am so very EXCITED for all of US who will declare that TODAY is MY NEW BEGINNING WITH GOD!

Now, PLEASE be clear that when you choose to make such a convincing and convicting declaration, YOU are opening your LIFE up to GOD activity that WILL make your life better than life as you presently know it!  Let me explain...

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.
3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day. [Genesis 1:1-5]

In these few verses, basically God had created something and that something needed to take shape and to be filled because what God had created as the heavens and earth was formless and void.  So, from the infinite view of God's perspective, God called forth exactly what God knew the heavens and the earth needed.  And while many parts of creation came later, as you can read in the verses after the ones I have selected, I think it is NO mistake that the very first part of the creation story acknowledges God calling forth LIGHT.  And God called the light "day" and the darkness God called "night."

BlogFam, on today, I admit that there are areas of my life that are formless and empty.  There are areas of my life that NEED the presence of God to hover and then speak a LET THERE BE.... and whatever needs to be WILL be.  AND it will be GOOD!

Friends, what about you?

BlogFam, I just want to encourage you ALL to know that if you need a NEW beginning on this day, GOD is the God of new beginnings and God has the infinite perspective of your life that will afford God the privilege to call froth LIGHT and everything else that you need to be all that God has created and called YOU to be.  AND because it will be God who will be doing the calling forth, LIFE WILL BE GOOD.

And yes, you will still have ups and downs, hurt and pain but because you have allowed God to shape and fill your life, God's presence will not only hover in those times, but God's presence will break in and call forth whatever you need in that moment to be healed, set free, and delivered.  And LIFE WILL STILL BE GOOD!

So, on today, I declare that this is YOUR day to embrace a NEW beginning to life with God!

Please do NOT be afraid of what God sees as God hovers over your life as it is, just know that God's infinite perspective of your life is so far beyond your imagination and IF you allow God to call forth LIGHT and everything else that YOU need to shape and to fill your life, LIFE WILL BE GOOD!

My Friends, Make this declaration with me -
TODAY is MY NEW BEGINNING WITH GOD!

GOD LOVES YOU and I DO TOO!!!
