Isaiah 40:27-30

[NIV]
Why do you complain, Jacob?
   Why do you say, Israel,
“My way is hidden from the LORD;
   my cause is disregarded by my God”?
Do you not know?
   Have you not heard?
The LORD is the everlasting God,
   the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
   and his understanding no one can fathom.
He gives strength to the weary
   and increases the power of the weak.
Even youths grow tired and weary,
   and young men stumble and fall;
but those who hope in the LORD
   will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
   they will run and not grow weary,
   they will walk and not be faint.

Greetings!

BlogFam, it is a brand new day! The things that happened yesterday – good or bad – are in the past and today is a new day!  There is no going back into the day before today to correct what you said or did as if to make it like you never said or did what you said or did on yesterday BUT today is a brand new day! And I hope that you will maximize the potential of this new day and not waste your time complaining to the Lord – and to others - about yesterday’s mistakes that you wish could have been auto-corrected as soon as they were typed into the manuscript of your memory.  Today is a new day!  And if you have something better to do or at least to think about other than complaining, then GET STARTED TODAY!  Besides –
Do you not know?
   Have you not heard?
The LORD is the everlasting God,
   the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
   and his understanding no one can fathom.
He gives strength to the weary
   and increases the power of the weak

My Friends, STOP COMPLAINING!  Yesterday, well, it is what it is and it is in the past and while you may not be proud of yesterday or while you may not like how you felt on yesterday, The LORD is the everlasting God and on today, you have a brand new opportunity to redirect your focus so that you can move forward and make your today better than your yesterday!

God knows what happened on yesterday.  God saw it and God heard it and whether or not what you said or did on yesterday brought glory to God, well, you and God know that too.  And in God’s infinite wisdom, magnificent love, and tireless tendencies of grace, the Lord our God has given you the gift of a brand new day and His understanding of yesterday and how your yesterday will work out for your good on today, no one can fathom.

Thus, my sistas and my brothas, today is a new day to take full advantage of the strength God gives to the weary and the increase of power God gives to the weak so that you can get over your yesterday, get through today, and get ready for tomorrow!

Furthermore, you are not the only person who needs help to move on.  Everybody I know has something that they wish was not a part of their personal story.  Age, experience, do not matter for even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall.
Everybody has something that happened on yesterday that they wish they could not recall.  And while it may be important to acknowledge the reality of yesterday for the lessons we can learn and the wisdom that can be gained from our past, we must not get stuck in the mire of what once was or what used to happen because we will never be able to live out the prophetic call of this text that WE WILL -
SOAR on wings like eagles;
RUN and not grow weary,
WALK and not be faint.

ALL of this is possible if we stop complaining and put our hope in the Lord who will renew our strength for this new day and for the tomorrows that are yet to come!

BlogFam, Stop Complaining and Start Soaring!

Why would you ever complain or whine saying, "God has lost track of me. He doesn't care what happens to me"? Don't you know anything? Haven't you been listening? God doesn't come and go. God lasts. He's Creator of all you can see or imagine. He doesn't get tired out, doesn't pause to catch his breath. And he knows everything, inside and out. He energizes those who get tired, gives fresh strength to dropouts. For even young people tire and drop out, young folk in their prime stumble and fall. But those who wait upon God get fresh strength. They spread their wings and soar like eagles, They run and don't get tired, they walk and don't lag behind. Isaiah 40:27-31 [MSG]

BlogFam, today is a brand new day! And on today, I pray that your today would be brighter than yesterday and preparation for tomorrow!  I pray that you would take full advantage of all that our God wants to be for you on today and not miss out on His blessings because you are so focused on what He has so graciously allowed you to live through.  I pray that whatever healing you need from your yesterday that you would receive it and that your healing will be the strength and increase of power you need to appreciate today.  I pray that today you would get in a position to soar like the eagles.  I pray that you would reject the tendency to express dissatisfaction, pain, uneasiness, resentment, grief, and to find fault in every little thing that does not go your way simply because you have not gotten over your yesterday and now have become the dark cloud that hangs low on everybody else’s today.  I pray that you would instead choose to SOAR –To rise or aspire to a higher or more exalted level in every area of your life and that you would inspire others to do the same!
